Welcome to The Parents Group!

The Parents Group (TPG), a partner ministry with SBM Worldwide, was started in 2007 by Stephen & Irene Bennett. The formation of this amazing and unique community was to offer support and encouragement to parents and family members of LGBT men and women. TheParentsGroup.com is a private and secure online Christian community where parents and family members of LGBT men and women can connect with each other to receive and give encouragement and support.

In this safe and caring environment, you can:

  • Pray weekly with the TPG community through a secure, confidential teleconferencing prayer meeting

  • Share prayer requests, updates, and answers to prayer with the community

  • Participate in forum discussions on a wide variety of topics

  • Read informative articles and encouraging devotionals

  • Chat individually or in groups with other parents

  • “Do life together” every day with others who understand your unique challenges

Send your loved one’s story and photo to us by snail mail

Write us a personal and private letter and share as much as you’d like about you and your loved one’s situation. Please feel free to include a photograph of your loved one as well so we can put a face to our prayers. Every letter is read, and we will gladly pray for you, your family, and your loved one in our daily prayer time here at the ministry!
